Charvel 750XL guitar homemade!
by Robert Veldhoven
The pics speak for themselves. I could not find a 750XL at the time (sparse and expencive) so I had to make one myself. The big difference between the DIY and the 750 is that the latter is a set neck. It also differs in other features, it has a homemade Floyd Hoax Original trem, 430mm fretboard radius, slightly wider neck ...........
I kept the 24 3/4" scale length. Turned out to be a great guitar, sounding really good. Plays a little odd due to the fretboard radius in combination with a Charvel neck profile, but you get used to it in no time.
