Creation of the "Model" that should've been....

Modifying knobs and switch

In the following I will show the creation / modification of the knobs. As you can see I used a stock set of Charvel volume and tone knobs and mounted them to a shaft and turned down the centers on the lathe to accept a birdseye insert.

I did the same thing with the black anodized switch tip I also made.

I just used a washer to get a nice size circle of birdseye for the V/T knobs...

...and I already had an extra from the fretboard inlays for the switch tip.

I used 2 sided tape attached to the end of a piece of brass...

...and "sized it up" with the 220 grit.

All done!
